From the field

I'm Nicolas, founder of Novaline Systems and currently the Director of Systems and Technology at TRALO. My background is in architecture, which sounds unrelated until you realize architecture is fundamentally about designing systems. How things fit together. How they flow. How they hold up under pressure.

That thinking translated directly when I joined Prestige Home Improvement, now TRALO. An Ottawa HVAC company, 9 people, real talent, strong service, and no operational backbone to support growth. Sound familiar?

Over the next few years I built one. The CRM architecture. The dispatch logic. The customer touchpoints. The AI assistants. The workflows. The internal tools.

9 to 40+ employees. Named to the Ottawa Business Journal Fastest Growing Companies list two years running (2025, 2026). A second office in Halifax. All of it while staying lean.

None of that happened because we threw more bodies at problems. It happened because we built systems that could scale without breaking, and that gave the team clarity on exactly what to do and when.
